Security certificates

Certification is the basic means of informing you of the level of security provided by the given product. Security doors can be placed in six classes according to European ENV 1627 norms. The first and second classes do not provide sufficient security; the third and fourth classes are most suitable for civilian use; the fifth and sixth classes are for special applications, e.g. in banks and for military uses. Insurers usually require at least Security Class 3.

Fire certificates are fundamental for using security doors in apartment building because the fire-resistance properties of entry doors are governed by law. Other certificates characterise particularly thermal- and sound-insulation properties of doors.
